Diamond stitch drilling to form opening.

This technique can be used to form any shape or size of opening through any thickness of reinforced concrete by overlapping core holes; in this case 107mm diameter holes were used to form an 800mm diameter hole through 225mm thick reinforced concrete tank for a new mixing paddle to be installed.

  • Nottinghamshire, Linney Group new build

    Ring sawing

TF Drilling were asked to form openings through 170mm thick reinforced concrete trapezoidal slab, the client specified no vibration was to be used as to not interfere with the structural integrity of the floor slab

To avoid any vibration the openings were cut into sections and then lifted out from above

    Hydraulic diamond saw cutting

TF Drilling were called in to remove 5No 150mm x 150mm reinforced concrete upstands which were in 6 metre bay sections for new windows to be installed.

These were cut horizontally and then cut off into 1 metre sections and removed leaving a flush finish.

    Diamond core drilling

TF Drilling were called in to diamond drill various penetrations in a newly formed reinforced concrete floor slab for a new machine to be installed.

Automatic feeding systems were used on this project which allowed one operative to use three diamond drilling rigs in unison to keep within the tight time frame.
